Tuesday, July 11th, 2006 – Four months old & shots

Hello all, I thought I would take a few minutes to share with you about today.  You see I turned 4 months old last Friday, and today, at 18 weeks, I went in for my 4 month checkup.  I had a fun time with Dr. Sacker, she's my pediatrician and is very nice.  She looked at the measurements that my nurse Flo did.  I'm a 50/50/75 boy.  My head measurement is in the 50th percentile, but I don't remember what the number actually was.  My weight is 14 pounds 11 ounces, which puts me in the 50th percentile.  My length, well, that's my Daddy coming out in me, I'm 25 1/2 inches long, which puts me in the 75th percentile.  After Dr. Sacker was done playing with me and talking to Momma & Daddy, Flo came back in.  Now, I have to say that I'm sure Flo is a very nice woman when she's not at work, but she stuck me with 3 different needles!  Oh, I cried and cried, and then Momma started crying.  As soon as she could Momma swooped me off the table and cuddled me as soon as I stopped crying enough, she nursed me and that helped make things better.

I did pretty well with nursing and napping for most of the afternoon, but after I woke up from my last nap, I was really uncomfortable and fussy.  Daddy gave me a little Tylenol, Momma nursed me and before I knew it I was back asleep comfortably in my swing.
