Sunday,
June 18th, 2006 – Father's Day!
What fun we had today! Momma and I woke up Daddy with a "Happy
Father's Day!" Then we all packed into the car, including my
cousin Shane who is staying with us, and went out to meet Grandma
and Grandpa Watson for brunch at 94th Aero Squadron. Yumm!!

This is me with my Daddy... (note my nice bubbles!)
Daddy, me, and my Grandpa Watson.

Then Daddy, Momma and I went to Balboa Park.
We started at the Aerospace Museum
http://www.aerospacemuseum.org/exhibits/index.html.

Daddy's telling me all about the airplanes
Here are two models of aircraft carriers.
Daddy told me about all sorts of different airplanes. Momma
smiled a lot and said "I don't know" when Daddy would ask her what
type of plane that was, and she tried very hard not to let her eyes
glaze over too much. While we were here, Daddy and Momma told
me about my Pops, (that's my Grandpa Vence). See, Pops was a
C-130 Pilot for the Coast Guard and they had models of Coast Guard
aircraft there:

USCG C-130, my Pops used to fly these.
After we got done there, we went over the to Model Railroad Museum
http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/.
That was neat!! We looked at all sorts of different sizes of
little trains. While we were here, Daddy and Momma told me about my
Grampy, (that's my Grandpa Carr), he really likes model trains!

Pretty huh? It's all fake!
Model train builders are pretty twisted characters!
On the way out, we went through the Botanical House and Momma got to
see pretty flowers. She likes flowers.

All in all, it was a great day! I actually got to spend
Father's Day with all the important men in my life, even if some of
them weren't actually here in person, they were with me in spirit.
What a great day!
Now, if we could just get these teeth of mine to stop hurting!!
