Tuesday, May 2nd, 2006 – Eight weeks old Yeah!
Shots Boo!
So, if you want to know how to make my Momma cry, just give me a
shot. Or as the nurse did today, you can give me 3 of them. Yuck.
We went into see my Pediatrician Dr. Sacker today, she's nice. She
played with me a little bit and weighed me, I'm 11 pounds 9 ounces,
and measured me, I'm 22½ inches long. She talked with Momma and
Daddy and then she left. Then the nurse came back in and she had
shots in her hand. I had to get two shots in my left leg and
another in my right leg. Unlike the other shot they gave me when I
was a few weeks old, I started crying right away with this one.
Momma was crying too. When the nurse was done, Momma picked me up
and cuddled me and things were mostly ok again. We got home and
Momma and I nuzzled and nursed and then I fell asleep on Daddy’s
chest after he burped me. Hopefully the Infant Tylenol will help
the pain in my legs keep me from getting too feverish. I suppose
we’ll know later tonight or tomorrow. That’s enough for now, it’s
been an exhausting day turning 8 weeks old!
