Tuesday, April 4th, 2006 – Four weeks!
Wow! Can you
believe it, I’m 4 weeks old now! Woo hoo!! Yesterday, I had 3
firsts:
-
My first babbling session. Momma and Daddy were in bed and I was
in my cosleeper. Momma had feed me and put me back down, but I
was awake and had a few things I wanted to say. So while Momma
and Daddy listened and laughed quietly in bed, I babbled and cooed
to myself for entertainment for a while.

My first tear. I got upset, so I had a tear. Wasn’t a big fat
tear, it was just a little one that wet the side of my face. But
it was still my first tear.
"I'm not happy!!!"
"Oh, Daddy kisses make everything ok!"

Daddy fed me! It was kinda weird, but Daddy had this bottle and
it smelled and tasted like Momma so I sucked it down as fast as I
could. It was yummy!! Momma mentioned something about too fast
and that I would have to try the Second Nature bottle instead of
the Soothie bottle. But after a good burping everything was just
fine.
Today, Momma had me
in the BabyBjorn while she vacuumed. I don’t remember much, ‘cause
it put me right to sleep. Then we walked up and talked with our
neighbor Ms. Jean and her daughter Marilyn. Then Daddy fed me with
the Second Nature bottle and it was pretty yummy. All in all a
pretty busy day for me for being a month old.
